摘要 There is described a glass plate-bevelling machine which is improved in such a way that it is suitable for the partial bevelling of a glass plate. When a partial bevelling is carried out with a conventionally designed glass plate-bevelling machine, at that moment when one of the two rollers for following the shape of the glass plate leaves the end point of the glass plate, one of the rollers is turned in the direction towards the straight edge, so that the bevelling wheel is also automatically turned. Consequently, the bevelling direction is departed from, with the result that a correct bevelling is impossible or an incorrect bevelling is produced. This disadvantage is avoided in that the bevelling wheel is not turned even when one of the two rollers deviates from the corner. A horizontal bearing cushion supports a device for following the shape of the glass plate and also, in addition, an adjusting-feeler control plate equipped with an adjusting-feeler guide slot. An end portion of the adjusting feeler is pivotably supported by the adjusting-feeler guide slot. Located under the bearing cushion is a pneumatic cylinder for fixing an adjusting feeler. The pneumatic cylinder 28 is actuated via numerical controls, while the adjusting feeler is controlled by the pneumatic cylinder, with the result that the device for following the shape of the glass plate is fixed or released exactly at the required locations. Thus, a partial-bevelling operation is automatically and continuously carried out by the bevelling machine.
