PURPOSE:To always output a reproducing image in normal display by converting a signal to which scanning line conversion is applied to an HTSC data rate, and displaying it on every kind of display after changing it to a prescribed HTSC format at an HTSC signal processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:A scanning line conversion circuit 10 performs conversion processing to the prescribed number of scanning lines by a signal from a control circuit 24 corresponding to every kind of display mode of a MUSE signal and a VTR reproducing signal. A luminance signal from the circuit 10 is inputted to a filter 11, and a chrominance signal to a filter 12, Selectors 13, 14 connect to (a) when an input signal mode shows MUSE, and to the point (b) when it shows VTR, and the luminance signal to which the scanning line conversion is applied is outputted from the point (c) of the selector 13, and a color difference signal from the point (c) of the selector 14. Time base conversion memory 15 converts the signals from the selectors 13, 14 to the NTSC system data rates, and sends them out to an HTSC system output circuit 18. The luminance and color difference signals from the circuit 18 are D/A-converted and modulated, then, they are outputted to terminals 21-23, respectively. |
