PURPOSE:To obtain a toner unlikely to scratch a photosensitive body by dispersing polyalkylene having an average particle diameter of <=3.0mum into the toner. CONSTITUTION:Since the polyalkylene particles are dispersed into the toner in a phase-separated state, and the toner particles themselves have moderate abrasivity, they can remove low-resistance matters, paper dust, and the like attached to the surface of the photosensitive body without scratching it. The polyalkylene particles have an average particle diameter of <=3mum, preferably, <=2mum and the toner has a kinetic friction coefficient of 0.15-0.65, preferably, 0.20-0.5, thus permitting the low-resistance matters and the toner remaining on the photosensitive body after transfer of the toner image to be removed without scratching it, and the toner to be prevented from attaching and melt attaching to the photosensitive body. |
