摘要 PURPOSE:To preferably control a synchronous motor in an inexpensive and simple structure by controlling a current supplied to a winding by the addition signal of an armature current command and a field current command. CONSTITUTION:A detector 4 for detecting the rotor position and the rotating speed is connected to a rotor 34, and a rotor position signal RP from a rotor position detector 5 is inputted to an armature current instructing circuit 2 and a field current instructing circuit 50. Then, armature current commands SAIU, SAIV, SAIW from the circuit 2 are respectively added by adders 72, 73, 74 to field current commands SFIU, SFIV, SFIW from the circuit 50, and the added current is supplied as current commands SIU, SIV, SIW through a current controller 60 to drive currents IU(FIU+AIU), IV(FIV+AIV), IW(FIW+AIW) to a winding 32.
