<p>PURPOSE:To make the load of each physical line nearly uniform by providing information of logic channel number (ULCN) for each physical line of terminal equipments accommodated by plural physical lines to a packet exchange station and selecting a physical line having a minimum ULCN when a call is received. CONSTITUTION:The packet exchange station 5 is provided with the information of logic channel number in use for physical lines 7...9 of a terminal equipment 6. When a call to the terminal equipment 6 arrives, the packet exchange station 5 references the information of logic channel number in use, selects the physical line with the least logic channel number in use in the physical lines 7...9 to the terminal equipment 6, and the physical lines are used to send the call to the terminal equipment 6. Thus, the load for each physical line is made nearly uniform.</p> |
