PURPOSE:To enable a metal foil not to be curled and to be easily handled by a method wherein a semi-cured resin layer of binder resin formed by compounding epoxy resin with a specific amount of elastomer provided with a thermal carboxyl group is formed on the surface of the metal foil. CONSTITUTION:A semi-cured resin layer of binder resin formed by compounding epoxy resin with a specific amount of elastomer provided with a terminal carboxyl group is formed on the surface of the metal foil, where the amount of elastomer concerned is within the range of 1-20 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of epoxy resin. At this point, if the compounded amount of elastomer is below one part by weight, the binder resin compounded with elastomer provided with a terminal carboxyl group hardly decreases in cure shrinkage and after-shrinkage, and if the amount concerned exceeds 20 parts by weight, the binder resin remarkably decreases in water absorption coefficient and heat resistance. By this setup, a metal foil is never curled and easily handled. |
