TV POWER SUPPLY CONTROL METHOD AND CIRCUIT WITH AUTOMATIC STANBY MODE

The circuit detects the absence of the viewer for long time and converts the TV to stand-by mode. The circuit comprises: a sensing unit (10) sensing the far infrared rays from human body at a certian distance using pyroelectrical sensor, a sensing driving unit (20) converting the detected signal of the sensing unit to logical level, a detection controlling unit (30) controlling the absence detection signal, a controlling unit generating the stand-by signal and applying it to a power unit (30) and a deflection circuit (40).
