PURPOSE:To display a three-dimensional stereoscopic image in a screen by driving the screen, which can be switched electrically and physically between a transparent and an opaque state to two-dimensional image information, in series at right angles to its travel direction. CONSTITUTION:The screen 4 can be switched between the transparent and opaque states by turning ON and OFF a voltage and is constituted by arraying respective (n) sheets 4-1-4-n at equal intervals, and the sheets 4-1 4-n or 4-n-4-1 are successively switched by a switching circuit 7 so that one sheet is ON, i.e., opaque. A liquid crystal display unit 2 displays information in a two-dimensional sectional shape of XY on the basis of data of inputted three-dimensional information corresponding to the position of the sheet of the screen 4 which becomes opaque, i.e., a position in a Z-axial direction. A controller 5 controls the switching circuit 7 and a controller 6 on the basis of the three-dimensional information 8 to display stereoscopic image information. |
