PURPOSE:To originate the call of only a registered telephone number by permitting the input of a telephone number from an input key to a telephone number memory only when the collated result code coincides with a password code. CONSTITUTION:A RAM is used for a password code memory 41, and password numbers validating the functions of a number register 2 are stored in the password code memory 41. When a password code is inputted from an input key 44, a code collation part 42 collates it with the password code stored in the memory 41. A control part 47 receives the collation result and permits the data input to the telephone number memory 18 of a portable telephone set 1 from the input key 44 via connection terminals 45 and 21 when the password codes coincide. When they do not coicide, the data input from the input key 44 is inhibited. As a result, as the password is not notified to the persons other than the persons in charge of the registration, the use of a using telephone can be prevented even if the telephone set 1 is lent to the persons concerned. The functions can be limited so that the originating calling of telephone numbers other than the registered telephone numbers can be performed. |
