PURPOSE:To provide a hot-water heater of the floor installation type which eliminates from the work of installation any possibility of a vacuum breaker being left unattached to the installation, makes the required piping work simple, and enables simplifying the working instruction given to the installation worker. CONSTITUTION:A hot-water heater of the floor installation type capable of supplying hot-water to a bathtub comprises a body of hot-water heater 30 and a vacuum breaker unit 20 which has a vacuum breaker 21 at the top of an inverted U-shaped tube 22. The body of hot-water heater is provided with an attaching device 36 by which the vacuum breaker unit is attached, a pair of joint tubes 35, 36 for the vacuum breaker for the connection with the ends of the pair of leglike tubes 22a of the inverted U-shaped tube, and a joint tube 37 to be connected with a pipe 5 to the bathtub for the supply of hot water. The joint tube 35 for the vacuum breaker is connected with the hot-outflow pipe 33 from the hot-water heater heat exchanger 31 and the other joint tube 36, with the joint tube 37 for the supply of hot water to the bathtub. |
