<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the illegal boarding cases where the passenger's tickets are combined with the commutation tickets. CONSTITUTION:When a passenger inputs his ticket to an automatic ticket examining machine, the ticket examining machine transmits a message 'Send the proper ID number of a commutation ticket.' to the commutation ticket, i.e., a non-contact IC card. If the passenger owns his commutation ticket, the passenger transmits his boarding section to the ticket examining machine. The ticket examining machine compares the received boarding section with the boarding section of the ticket. If the possibility of illegal boarding exists, the boarind station and the boarding date are written on the commutation ticket. When the passenger gets off a train by means of his commutation ticket, the automatic ticket examining machine reads the boarding station to check whether the passenger boarded at a specified section or not to expose the foul boarding.</p> |
