PURPOSE:To miniaturize a laser oscillator by a method wherein a manifold side electrode is made a ground side electrode, so that a leak current is not generated between a manifold and the ground side electrode when the manifold is made the ground side, and therefor the interval between the manifold and a heat exchanger or a blower can be reduced by narrowing the interval between the ground side electrode and the manifold. CONSTITUTION:Both end portions of laser tubes 2 are retained by manifolds 3 and 4A or 3 and 4B as retainers. Two sets of electrodes 12 and 13 are arranged in series in the longitudinal direction of the laser tubes. Electrodes on the manifold side of the end portions of the laser tubes 2 are made ground side electrodes 12, 12. The other electrodes on the center side of the laser tubes 2 are made unground side electrodes 13, 13. |
