<p>Abrasion resistant fabric can be woven from substantially untwisted polyester or polyamide yarn and treated with an overfinish composition to give enhanced abrasion resistance. The overfinish composition comprises effective amounts of a specified crystallizable copolymer consisting essentially of linear polyethylene terephthalate segments and polyoxyethylene terephthalate segments, a specified polyethyleneglycol ester or alcohol, and sodium dialkylnaphthalene.</p> |
