PURPOSE:To ameliorate the denaturation of org. dye and the photodeterioration of recording and reproducing characteristics by providing one surface side of a light absorptive layer contg. the org. dye with a light transmissive substrate and a light transmissive oxidized film and providing the other surface side of this light absorptive layer with a reflection layer. CONSTITUTION:The light transmissive oxidized film 22, the light absorptive layer 14, an enhancement layer 16, the reflection layer 18 and a protective layer 20 are laminated and formed in this order on one surface of the light transmissive substrate 12. Polycarbonate, etc., having 1.4 to 1.6 refractive index to a laser are used for the light transmissive substrate 12. A metal oxide expressed by Mxrt. angley (where M: a metal element, x: 1 if M is Si, 2, if Al, y: 0.3 to 3.8) is used for the light transparent oxidized film 22. An org. dye such as a cyanin dye for the light absorptive layer 14. A metallic film consisting of gold is formed by vapor deposition method on the reflection layer 18. A protective layer 20 is formed of a synthetic resin having excellent impact resistance thereon. The supply of oxygen to the light absorptive layer 14 is prohibited by the light transmissive oxidized film 22 and, therefore, the denaturation of the org. dye incorporated in the light absorptive layer 14 is prevented and the photodeterioration is ameliorated. |
