<p>Device for feeding a ream of sheets contained in a container by the rotation of a feed roller having an outer surface which is pressed with a given contact pressure against the upper sheet of the ream, taking advantage of the friction between the upper sheet and the outer surface of the feed roller, characterized in that the container which tilts about an axis lying in a plane passing substantially through the centre of gravity of the said container in such a way that when a constant force is applied to a point on the container on the side opposite the feed roller with respect to the axis of rotation the said pressure is constant and independent of the number and weight of the sheets in the ream.</p> |
