PURPOSE:To provide a polymer electric device having a self-restoration electric insulation polymer layer having high durability for a deterioration in the polymer electric device using a polymer material such as a super-thin film element, a tunnel thin film element, a high voltage part, etc., in an electric part field. CONSTITUTION:This embodiment comprises a polymer electric device formed with a self-restoration electric insulation polymer layer connecting to a conductor, and self-restores a deterioration in electric insulation near a conductor, caused according to a use time period due to a chemical reaction of the self- restoration electric insulation polymer layer by an electric field of a conductor. As the self-restoration electric insulation polymer, (1) a polymer having covalent silicon-silicon bonds such as polysilane, etc., as a main chain; and (2) an electric insulation polymer having covalent carbon-carbon bonds including the minute amount of ionic polymerization catalyst or electrolytically polymerizable precursor as a main chain are used. |
