<p>PURPOSE:To prevent electrolytic corrosion and abnormal display and to improve the life of thin-film elements by shorting capacitor lines to frame-shaped wirings for remedy against static electricity connecting gate lines and data lines via the specific elements. CONSTITUTION:The element regions on the side inner than the points where the margin parts of a transparent substrate 1 are parted (parting lines k) are formed with the frame-shaped wirings 9 for remedy against static electricity for preventing the electrostatic breakdown, etc., of thin-film transistors (TFTs) 3, etc., during the production process after assembly of the liquid crystal display elements. The gate lines 4 and the data lines 5 are connected via to the frame- shaped wirings 9 via the thin-film elements 10 having nonlinear resistance characteristics. The one-side ends of the respective horizontal wiring parts 9a of the frame-shaped wirings 9 and the one-side ends of all the capacitor lines 6 are respectively extended to the margin parts 1B of the substrate 1 and are connected to the shorting wirings 8, by which all the capacitor lines 6 are shorted to the vertical wiring parts 9b of the frame-shaped wirings 9.</p> |
