<p>PURPOSE:To withdraw a memory card without interrupting power by always monitoring the withdrawal of an external storage means and resetting a system when the external storage means is withdrawn while a program is executed so as to prevent self runaway. CONSTITUTION:When the memory card 12 is inserted to a main body connector 11, CD 1 and CD 2 at the both ends of a connection pin are grounded in the card 12, and a card insertion signal is outputted at a low level. CPU 1 recognizes that a unique code which RAM in a main body stores coincides with a unique code which EEPROM 123 in the card stores, CPU 1 always monitors the withdrawal of the card until the program terminates. When the card is withdrawn while the program is executed, CD 1 or CD 2 in the connector of the card 12 becomes a high level, the low level is outputted to the reset terminal of CPU 1 and the system is reset. Thus, the system can be restored to an immediately former state immediately after the system is reset by judging the unique code.</p> |
