PURPOSE:To correct the change of the longitudinal magnification of an image associated with the change of paper feeding speed according to the kind of paper. CONSTITUTION:In this image forming device, a latent image formed on a drum is developed with toner and a toner image is transferred on the paper; a clock generated by a clock generation part 11 is frequency-divided by a frequency divider circuit 12, and the drum is rotated at fixed speed by a PLL circuit 14 based on the clock. By changing the frequency division ratio of the circuit 12 by a decoder 13 according to a paper kind signal 18, the rotating speed of the drum is adjusted and the change of the longitudinal magnification of the image associated with the change of the paper carrying speed according to the kind of the paper is corrected. |
