PURPOSE:To transmit optional response holding sound in the case of a response holding state by providing a means for storing audio data as the response holding sound optionally inputted from an outside. CONSTITUTION:Optional audio signals inputted from a microphone 1 are passed through a changeover switch 2, converted in an A/D converter 4 and then stored in a storage part 9 in the prescribed order of addresses by a CPU 7. In this case, when a response holding operation is performed in a key input part 6 while communication is performed with a called party side, the changeover switch 3 is switched and connected to a D/A converter 5 by a CPU 7 and the audio data are successively and repeatedly read in the prescribed order from the storage part 9. The audio data from the storage part 9 are converted in the D/A conversion part 5 and then transmitted through the switch 3 to the called party side as the response holding sound. |
