PURPOSE:To enable a researcher/developer to conveniently use this monitoring device by effectively dealing a carry or carry-down error in sample data. CONSTITUTION:The monitoring device 2 is provided with a dual port RAM (DPRAM) 23 to be accessed from two directions, data are writted in the DPRAM 23 twice as two divided data from an electronic control unit (ECU) 1 and the device 2 reads out the written data as monitoring data. The device 2 is also provided with a data error detecting part 27 for detecting a carry or carry-clown error in the data at the time of reading out the data from the DPRAM 23 and an error processing part 22 for executing prescribed error processing when the detecting part 27 detects the data error. In the error processing, a data value obtained at the time of generating a data error is neglected and the preceding data value is held as it is as monitor data. |
