PURPOSE:To simplify configuration and to perform exact equalization as well without requiring any large circuit scale calculation circuit or any high-accuracy D/A converter. CONSTITUTION:Corresponding to the output of a transversal filter 13, a decision output 21 and an error signal 22 are provided by a comparator 7. These signals are processed by a tap correction output calculation circuit 14 and respectively integrated by analog integration circuits 107, 108 and 108, and cumulative correction amounts are calculated corresponding to the initial value of a tap coefficient. The initial value is added to these amounts by adders 110, 111 and 112 and defined as the control signal of the transversal filter 13. Thus, since the amount of electric charges to be leaked from the analog integration circuits and the initial value is not affected by the leak as well, the tap coefficient can be exactly calculated, and automatic equalization due to zero forcing algorithm is enabled with extremely simple configuration. |
