<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the deterioration of polarizing films by pressing and to lessen unequal display by arranging the inner side end of an adhesive material for a touch switch on the side outer than the inner side end of a seal consisting of a frame-shaped seal and a projecting part projecting from this frame. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display device has a liquid crystal display element which is arranged with a pair of substrates 3A, 3B with electrodes disposed with the electrode surfaces opposite to each other, is sealed at the periphery and internally clamps a liquid crystal and the touch switch 5 arranged on the front surface side thereof. This touch switch 5 is connected to the liquid crystal display element on its periphery. The peripheral seal 1 similar to ordinary peripheral seals is provided with projecting parts 2 projecting toward the inner side or outer side thereof as the peripheral seal. The end on the inner side of the adhesive material 6 adhering the touch switch 5 to the liquid crystal display element is arranged on the side outer than the end on the innermost side of the peripheral seal 1. As a result, the peripheral seal 1 holds the inter- substrate spacing even if force acts concentrically on the inner side of the adhesive material 6 when the touch switch 5 is pressed and, therefore, an adverse influence is no longer generated on the display.</p> |
