<p>PURPOSE:To provide an image signal reproducing device capable of obtaining. a reproducing image with a little deterioration in visual point by estimating motion from a peripheral block for which decoding is disabled and detecting the error generating status of the peripheral block when data in the block for which the decoding is disabled is reproduced. CONSTITUTION:This device is the image signal reproducing device which obtains an image signal by blocking the image signal at every prescribed number of picture elements and decoding coded data in the unit of block, it is constituted in such a way that an interpolation means to interpolate the data in the block for which the decoding is disabled by interpolation data generated by a prescribed method, a motion estimating means 111 which estimates the motion of the block for which the decoding is disabled based on the motion of the peripheral block of the block for which the decoding is disabled, and an error pattern detecting means 115 which detects the error of the peripheral block and controls the motion estimating means 111 based on the error generating status are provided, and the interpolation means performs interpolation based on the estimated result of the motion estimating means 111.</p> |
