PURPOSE: To provide a push button switch for an elevator which can emit confirmation signals as bright as an incandescent bulb. CONSTITUTION: This push button switch comprises a transparent push button 4, an adaptor to hold the push button in a manner that the push button can slide, a plurality of light emitting diodes installed in a printed circuit board to illuminate the push button 4, and a light reflector 10 to guide light rays emitted out of the light emitting diodes to the push button. The light reflector 10 is placed between the push button 4 and the adaptor 6. The bottom part 8 has a recessed part 14 having walls extended in the radial direction and formed in the bottom part 8 in order to hold a printed circuit board 13. A plurality of holes extended in the axial direction are formed in the light reflector 10 and one of the holes is arranged nearly coaxially with the axis in the longitudinal direction of the light reflector 10 and other holes are arranged as to form a square at equal gaps from the former. Respective light emitting diodes are positioned on a printed circuit board 13 adjacently to respectively relevant holes one by one. |
