PURPOSE:To detect the misconnection of a front cable at the time of connecting between packages through the front cable in addition to the connection of a rear face. CONSTITUTION:Prior to the initial diagnosis of the contents of a package which is to be executed by a service processor 10, a diagnosis control part 11 generates a diagnostic identification(ID) code, transmits the ID code and diagnostic route information to an M diagnosed package 30 and transmits the diagnostic route information to an S diagnosed package 40. The package 30 transfers the received ID code to the package 40 connected through a connector indicated by the diagnostic route information. The package 40 receives the ID code in accordance with the diagnostic route information and transmits the received ID code to the processor 10. The processor 10 collates the ID code transmitted to the package 30 with the ID code received from the package 40 by an ID code collating part 20 to detect the misconnection of the cable. |
