<p>PURPOSE:To provide a production method of a color filter by which reproducibility of a photosensitive film can be maintained in the process to form a photosensitive color layer on a substrate by using the photosensitive film and to form several colors of stripe or mosaic picture elements. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive film comprising a base film and a photosensitive resin layer colored in one color is laminated with a substrate in a manner that the colored photosensitive resin layer faces to the substrate. A specified pattern is formed by exposure and the base film is peeled for development. This procedure is repeated to produce a multicolor pattern to obtain a color filter. In this method, such a photosensitive film is used for at least second color and succeeding colors that the base film has 1.6-10mum thickness and a protective film is laminated on the upper surface of the colored photosensitive resin layer.</p> |
