PURPOSE:To prevent the misuse of different batteries by setting up a projection or a concave on the exterior shape of button type batteries and their housing section when replacing or inserting the batteries. CONSTITUTION:The metal sheet 9 with the projection 9a and the contact 9b is spot welded on the external can of the battery 8. The play section 7 is formed on a part of the battery housing section 3 in which the battery 8 is contained and the projection 9a is housed in it. The projection 9 is used jointly with terminals or circuit terminals which are contacted with the battery at the separate position can be set up the play section 7. Also by setting up a circuit terminal which directly makes contact with the battery at its housing section, it can be combined with the above terminals. This can prevent the misuse of different batteries when replacing or inserting them.
