A drawer locking system which allows only one drawer No. 2 and 3 to be opened at a time. The system means that when one drawer No. 2 is pulled out, it is no longer possible to pull another drawer No. 3 out. The system operates in that a rocker arm No. 7, which is fixed to a cabinet No. 5 engages in a locking plate No. 4, which is fixed to a drawer No. 2 and 3. When a second drawer No. 2 with locking plate is pulled out, the rocker arm No. 7 will lock for other drawers No. 3. The design of the system is such that it permits large tolerances and a short assembly time. Finally the system provides the facility for central locking of the drawers. <IMAGE>
