Device for adapting the body of a pen to the hand of the person using it. The invention relates to a technique enabling the production of pens which are ergonomically adapted to the hands of the people who will use them so that these pens will be as comfortable as possible to use. The person who will use the pen makes an impression of his fingers and his hand on a stick of modelling clay which is in the initial shape of a pen. This stick is made up of a rigid rod encased in modelling clay. This stick, which bears the hollowed imprint of the writer, is then used to make one or more copies in the materials of his choice (wood, metal, plastic, etc.). The device according to the invention is particularly designed for the manufacture of personalised ergonomic pens. <IMAGE>
