The present invention relates to a suspension module for heavy goods vehicles, particularly for trailers, semitrailers and rear axle assemblies. Module characterised in that it essentially consists of an element (1) for supporting and guiding an articulated arm (2) for the fitting of a swing axle (12) with single wheels (3), the said element (1) being fixed under the chassis (4) of the vehicle, and of a means (5) for the suspension of the said articulated arm (2) interacting with the lower face of the support and guidance element (1).
