A novel measuring system (1) is introduced for measuring the angle of inclination of a body with reference to the absolute acceleration acting on the body. For this purpose, the relative angle of inclination is measured using a first measuring sensor (2) in the low-frequency range, and the acceleration is measured with a second measuring sensor (4) in the higher-frequency range. The signals from the measuring sensors (2; 4) are each filtered complementarily in a subsequent filter (3; 5) and the filtered signals are added in an adder circuit (7). <IMAGE>
