The tape loading device performs tape loading by making a pole base advanced after an initial state, the pole base being not advanced when progressing from an eject state to the initial state. The device includes a transmit gear formed by a first gear and a second gear, a connecting gear for receiving power from the second gear and racing for a given period by a second racing part of the second gear, a first and a second loading gears being spun by the connecting gear, a link device fixed to the first and second loading gears, and loading flutes formed in a curved line shape.
