The present invention relates to a flat-folding coat hanger (1) for hanging clothes. It is made of a sheet material cut from a blank to give flaps and tabs which combine with scorelines to allow the hanger (1) to be folded into its functional configuration; the blank is made so as to form two hanger halves (2, 3) which fold together at the top, which acts as a hanging hook (4), and at the bottom, which acts as a hinge (5).
