The interferometer according to the invention has, apart from a beam splitter (2), a converging lens (9) and a detector (10), six plane mirrors (3a, 3b; 4, 5, 6a, 6b) and a plane-parallel plate (7), which is mirrored on both sides, as rotating mirror element. The axis of rotation (8) runs concentrically to the mirror element (7) and is inclined with respect to the normal to the mirror element (7) by the angle alpha . Half-beams coming from the beam splitter (2) are deflected via plane deflection mirrors (3a, 3b) to the mirror element (7), reflected by the latter to the plane mirror (4) arranged perpendicular to the axis of rotation and run from there through an un-silvered location or through a continuous, concentric recess of the rotating mirror element (7) to the plane mirror (5) lying opposite the rear side of the mirror element (7). From there, the half-beams are reflected back to the rotating mirror element (7) and from the latter to two further plane mirrors (6a, 6b). Since the half-beams impinge perpendicularly on the plane mirrors (6a, 6b), they pass through - reflected by the plane mirrors (6a, 6b) - the described path in the reverse direction, recombine on the beam splitter (2) and are focused by the converging lens (9) on the detector (10). <IMAGE> |
