<p>This invention relates to novel substituted caprolactams, including 4-azacaprolactams such as those of formula (Ic) in which R?4, R7, R22, and R27¿ are as defined in the description, and derivatives thereof which inhibit HIV protease and are useful for treatment of HIV disease. Also included are pharmaceutical compositions containing such caprolactams, and methods of using such caprolactams for the treatment of HIV disease.</p> |
