The invention relates to a device for electrical controls for resetting digital and analog signals in electronic components to a defined initial status after a switch-on or reset operation, in which there is a store. According to the invention, in its configuration for resetting digital signals, the device has an intermediate component (6) in the form of a flip-flop. Each reset relating to the store (1) is taken to the intermediate component (6). The intermediate component (6) is set at the same time as the first writing operation on the store (1) following a reset. An output enable signal may be taken from an output of the intermediate component (6) to OE input (3) of the store (1). The invention is advantageous because automatic controls can be stabilised by the avoidance of unforeseeable initial statuses.
