The invention concerns a method for the spatial filtering of objects with any type of surface feature using light-field-like features, in particular features with a grid-like structure in which the grid is made up of detector surfaces designed as grid elements and spacer surfaces designed as transition zones. The invention also concerns their use for optical sensors with one or more transport registers or for sensors operating in accordance with other physical principles, the detector surface being disposed parallel to the object surface or its direction of motion and the detector axis being aligned with the direction of motion. The invention further concerns a device for carrying out the method. The invention provides a selective spatial-frequency filter with a relatively simple structure and which filters, using analogue techniques, the image data on objects with any type of surface feature, the filter properties preferably being electronically modifiable. The invention calls for the image signal from a sensor, whose detector surfaces form the grid elements, to be summed spatially by cyclic read-out and accumulation of image data, either the data from all the detector elements being included in the integration or individual or several detector elements being excluded from the integration. |
