In an armature for conductors in high-voltage power supply systems, especially for high-voltage power supply cables, with a cast resin insulator (12) in which there is a bonding device (5) and with an electrically conductive screen surrounding the bonding device (5) and the access channel or the access channels (7) at a distance therefrom, the screen takes the form of a conductive coating (10) applied to the outer surface of the insulator (2). The shape of the outer casing of the insulator (2) and hence also the conductive coating (10) applied thereto is such that the electric field has at least largely the best possible passage between the bonding device (5) and the conductive coating (10).
