A process and apparatus for producing structures on substructures, which process is characterised in that groups of at least two sheet-like structural parts consisting of blocks are prefabricated with the aid of an apparatus according to the invention, which apparatus seizes, by means of a gripper, at least two blocks one beside the other in a direction transverse to the structural part and at least one block in the direction of the structural part, and are assembled to form structures on substructures such as foundations, cellars, garages or wide-span superstructures according to the invention, if appropriate with the aid of a crossmember according to the invention. <IMAGE>
