In order to prevent the gauze of the anti-insect roller-grille device from being soiled by undesired particles such as dust and gradually losing its translucence, there is fitted, in the region of the run-out edge of the roller-blind casing, a brush strip which extends over the entire width of the gauze and rests thereon. Each time the gauze is moved downwards and upwards, said gauze is automatically freed of adhering undesired particles. Moreover, the brush strip forms an effective barrier against insects which try to pass from the interior of the roller-blind casing behind the gauze through the window opening or door opening. A further advantage of the brush strip consists in the fact that it closes off a cold bridge to the roller-blind casing.
