Wheel suspension for running gear, especially a single-track skateboard

A wheel suspension for a skateboard has a wheel hub, which wheel hub is pivotably supported in such a manner that the wheel mounted by the wheel hub has backward or forward castoring. This wheel suspension is to be improved in respect of its steering performance. This is achieved by means of a wheel suspension wherein the wheel hub is supported on the running gear by means of pivot elements arranged on both sides of the wheel in question and thus forms with the running gear a four-membered trapezoidal articulated linkage. The shorter side of the trapezoidal articulated linkage lies closer to the wheel hub, its pivot pins being parallel to each other and tilted towards the running gear in vertical planes which are parallel in the respective direction of travel.
