The objective of this invention is to prevent the deposition and the scale growth of the limestone present in the water flowing inside a pipeline, and in any domestic appliance; it enables the existing deposits to be removed. The apparatus (1) is made up of a double generator of intermediate frequencies, transmitting the induction of currents regulated by two spiral cables (2 and 3) wound around the water pipework to be treated (4), the whole being suspended from the pipework by a carrier (5), two indicator lights (6 and 7) controlling the operation; a switch (8) controls the functioning of this module, which is powered via a 220-volt power cable (9). This generator induces, by ionisation, polarisation of the solid particles present in the water, especially the calcium carbonate which, as a result of this treatment, is transformed into a fine powder called "microcrystals". The limestone thus no longer adheres to the walls of the conduits and promotes the descaling on passing through. This device is installed into the existing system without any modification of the latter. <IMAGE>
