At the reversal point of the wiper-blade movement the ends of a contact-pressure reinforcer, fastened on the wiper-blade main bracket, may strike against the windscreen because of the forces which occur and the elasticity of the wiper strips. A wiper blade according to the invention has a contact-pressure reinforcer, the ends of which are coated with a plastic layer, applied by dip-coating, to protect them from striking against the windscreen.
