A carrier card 5 with an interchangeable electronic chip 4, which can be used as a user card for mobile telephones, is provided with a cutout 6 for the insertion of the electronic chip 4 and has means for holding the chip 4 in the cutout 6. In order to make possible the use of only one electronic chip 4 both in mobile telephones with large user cards and also in mobile hand telephones with small handy user cards 3, the cutout 6 has the dimensions of a handy user card 3 and the holding means are fitted on the carrier card 5 and designed for pushing the handy user card 3 in and out. For a frame-like mounting enabling the pushing in and out, the carrier card 5 is provided on one surface with a film covering the cutout 6. On the opposite surface, the side edges of the cutout 6, extending in the pushing direction, are provided with a border 10 covering the side edges 9 of the handy user card 3. <IMAGE>
