The invention concerns a parking facility for motor vehicles, the facility including parking pallets fitted with an electric drive motor to drive the pallet along a trackway plus current-carrying rails running along the trackway to power the electric motors. Current collectors fitted on the pallets contact the current-carrying rails. In order to reduce mechanical wear and corrosion of the current-carrying rails, without increasing power losses, the invention proposes that the current-carrying rails incorporate a strip of metal with a high electrical conductivity which is covered, at least on the side contacting the current collectors, with a layer of wear-resistant metal. |
