<p>A time capsule (10) for domestic use including a main body portion (12) and a base (14). The base (14) and body portion (12) fit together in sealing relationship and the base is provided with a means such as a one-way valve (40) which allows air to be removed from the time capsule (10) to provide a low pressure environment for the storage of documents. The base also has built in a locking means which is activated by a CPU. The locking means being engaged when either a predetermined time is reached or a security code is entered into a data entry means connected to the CPU.</p> |
