A cylindrical body or a cylindrical drum, which is provided with a diametral tapped hole (4), which is joined to the screw end (5) of a pin (6), which also has an intermediate section of polygonal profile (9), which engages in a suitable matching bush (10), acts on the forked hook (2) of a manual operating lever (3). The said bush has a lateral rocker-shaped edge (17), which fits together with the cylindrical peripheral profile of the said cylindrical drum (1) and engages in the same by means of pressure exerted by a compression spring (14), which acts on an intervening ring. Tightening or slackening of the pin adjusts the activation position for the piston (13) of a variable capacity pump, and said position is maintained by the connection between the rocker-shaped bush and the cylindrical drum, which is alternately detached and returns according to the combination of the advance and return of the pin in its rotary movement caused by the thread and the rotational driving in conjunction with the axial sliding movement in the corresponding section of the bush (10), which has a polygonal profile. <IMAGE>
