CHELATORS OF TYPE XN1S1X' FOR RADIOACTIVE ISOTOPES, THEIR METAL COMPLEXES AND THEIR DIAGNOSTIC AND THERAPEUTICAL USES

New bifunctional chalcogen-atom interrupted chelators, pharmaceuticals containing these compounds, their use in radiodiagnosis and radiotherapy as well as a process for producing these compounds are disclosed. In the compound having the general formula (I): M - L, M stands for a radioisotope of Tc or Re and L stands for a ligand having the general formula (II). It was surprisingly discovered that these new bifunctional chalcogen-atom interrupted chelators and their coupling products with specifically accumulating compounds are extraordinarily suitable for producing radiodiagnostic and radiotherapeutical agents.
