In order to provide a storage system, particularly for goods to be stored encased, which allows, on the one hand, safe storage for long periods of time and, on the other hand, access at any time to the individual goods, for example for exchanging or checking these, it is proposed that the said storage system comprise a storage chamber, that the storage chamber be enclosed by a chamber element which has at least three side walls as well as a cover and a bottom, at least two mutually opposite side walls, together with the covers or the bottom, being designed as an assembly unit, that the cover close the storage chamber inaccessibly, that the storage chamber has a lateral access orifice, that the access orifice open into a distributor chamber located next to the storage chamber, and that the distributor chamber be closed off on its top side by means of a distributor cover.
